Performers : In Sook Yoo (60, South Korean), Hee Ran Lee (30, South Korean) In Asia, Ping-Pong is considered a national sport. Here, in the west, people consider Ping-Pong a family game. Existing as sculpture and performance, Ping & Pong, is a match between two generations of Asian women, a mother and daughter. This performance investigates the possibility/impossibility of fairness as two players compete. Actions, in context with complex objects, unveil the human factors that problematize easy assumptions about quality, power, and strength.
